Michael On Fire with Dennis Burr

Grand Opening – Fire Tales at Stone Chalet, an exciting new musical series featuring Michael On Fire (MOF) opens on Jan 23 at 8:00 PM in the Stone Chalet Event Center. MOF is a veteran touring and improvisational musical artist with an eclectic blend of country, folk, blues and rock’n’roll – occasionally all in one song. He is a singer, songwriter, musician and storyteller who is lauded by fans and fellow musicians alike for his powerful lyrics and emotional performances that connect with his audience. A Detroit native, MOF www.MichaelOnFire.com has recorded more than 200 original songs on 18 albums, the first of which was produced by Stephen Stills and Joe Vitale.

Dennis Burr will join MOF for the inaugural performance as musical co-creator on guitar, mandolin, pedal steel and background vocals. New programs and rotating cast of top-notch musicians will join MOF on future Saturday evenings for unique journeys through his vast songbook. The guest accompanists will offer different musical contributions on different instruments, each adding a distinctive twist and sound to the way the songs are presented. The result will be an enthralling “conversation” to be experienced for the first time by the artists and the audience alike.

Stone Chalet Event Center provides the perfect setting for these fun, intimate, and highly inventive musical sessions. Seating is open with both theater-style and cocktail tables. Complementary snacks and non-alcoholic beverages will be served at the Grand Opening Event on Jan, 23. Doors open at 7:15 PM for the 8:00 PM performance.
